Mode of Application

  1. Choices would be made twice a year according to RBI’s needs in a manner that the internship starts on the 1st of January or the 1st of July of the calendar year. Applications are invited within the first five months of the previous half-year. For example, an application for an internship that would take effect from the 1st of January onwards would be received during July – November and evaluated in December of the same year. Likewise, applications for internships that would start from the 1st of July onwards would be received from January to May and evaluated during June of the same year.
  2. The applications of the candidates will be in force only for the applied batch (i.e, 1st January / 1st July) and the same will not be considered for the subsequent batch. Candidates who were not selected earlier, if interested, are requested to apply afresh when the application window for the following intended batch commences.
  3. The shortlisting of candidates shall be carried out by the Bank on CV and Statements of References and Purpose; thereafter, based on merit, candidates shall be invited for a personal interview. Whoever is interested can send their CV, Statements of Reference, and Purpose, which are attached with an application form appropriately filled out to the email ID of the concerned department from an applicant.
  4. Only complete applications and applications submitted with inferences and a Statement of Purpose will be accepted.
