Ineligibilities include People who are already taking part in some kind of skill development programs, apprenticeships, or internships under any scheme by Central or State government cannot apply.
Ineligibility based on income: Applicants from families with an annual income of more than ₹8 lakh are ineligible. The income is calculated from all family members.
Government Employment

The following PM Internship Scheme Eligibility do not apply: Relatives of permanent or regular employees of Central/State Government/Public sector undertakings. This would eliminate the relatives of full-time government servants, be they central or state government employees or public sector undertakings.
Citizenship Requirement

Advantages of Participation

- Monthly Stipend: ₹5000 per month throughout the internship. This will be funded by ₹4500 from the government, and ₹500 will be contributed by the CSR initiative of the company participating.
